The Tenant Verification report will check the following information based on the tenant’s driver licence or passport:
- Tenant identity
- Rental records
- Legal records

When a tenant purchases a Tenant Verification report, their identification will be verified against multiple databases including the Australian Document Verification Service database and the Equifax National Tenancy Database.
If a Tenant Verification report is added to an application, you do not need to do an additional verification check by asking tenants to include a copy of their ID that they used for the report. This is because the database will check and verify the tenant for you. This report will help you save time and feel confident when it comes to finding the right tenants for your properties.
Note: All tenants will have the option to purchase a Tenant Verification report. Property managers will not be able to customise their applications to remove this feature for tenants.
Where can I find the Tenant Verification report in a rental application?
If a tenant has purchased a Tenant Verification report, you will find their report attached to their application under the IDs & Docs tab when you view their application in 1form.
If a tenant decides not to purchase a Tenant Verification report, you can continue to find tenant IDs and documentations under the IDs & Docs tab and proceed with your usual verification process.
